Who is the Las Vegas Sail and Power Squadron?

We are a boating education organization of the historic United States Power Squadrons®, America's Boating Club®, an IRS 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. 

Boaters rely on us for inland, coastal, and offshore sail and power boating education. In the great American southwest desert, Lake Mead, Lake Mohave, and Lower Colorado River are your boating education classrooms.

What can you expect from our legendary boating skills courses? You will learn from expertly developed and presented education courses by United States Power Squadrons Certified Instructors. 

Get social, get on the water! Squadron members are easy to find around our lakes and in the community. We are an "outside" group with fellow squadrons coast-to-coast, Japan, St. Thomas VI, and Puerto Rico. 

Get outside and go boating! The Las Vegas Sail and Power Squadron will show you how to be a Pro Boater.  Don't be just an ordinary boater, join us! Be a safer boater and leader in your boating community.

Incorporated in 1914, the United States Power Squadrons has grown across the United States mainland, Puerto Rico, St. Thomas VI, and Japan. We ARE THE LARGEST and most respected recreational boating safety organization!

Established in 1938, our sister organization Canadian Power and Sail Squadron (CPS-ECP) provides boating education to boaters north of our border.
